About the Artist


Christina G Allan was a Glasgow painter in oils, landscapes and seascapes. Sister of the Scottish landscape artist Robert Weir Allan (1851-1942), Catharine Allan and related to David Allan.

Exhibited RSA (9) between 1862 and 1870 and with RGI (7) between 1860 and 1870.
