About the Artist

Julia Zeller-Jacques is a printmaker and painter and the owner of Rock and Bird, an art supply shop at the heart of North Berwick. She studied illustration at the Hull School of Art and Design.  Her work often explores the natural forms found in the landscape in the strong, graphic idiom characteristic of relief-printing.  She often works in mixed media, combining under and over-painting with different forms of printmaking to create unique pieces on a theme rather than runs of identical prints.

Julia has contributed to several public art projects around the UK, including the recent Leuchie House Lighthouse trail.  She is a member of the North Berwick Art Collective and helps to organise pARTicipate on behalf of NB Heritage.
